The U.S.'s current policy is to lock up immigrants in jail like
detention
centers that has put an immense amount of stress and trauma towards many
immigrants. The cells they are forced to stay in don't have proper
insulation and the conditions are terrible in general. Many people
including children and families come to the U.S. in hopes of
having a better life, but are stuck in a
facility where basic needs such as food, water and hygine products are
not
provided. Their living conditions have worsened during this
pandemic. People don't have access to PPE or enough space to be safely
distanced from each other. We need to do what we can so these inhumane
ways of living can be improved
